evenin’. happy news from sucksland. our record has been mastered by the incredibly talented don fury. we posted a tune a couple weeks ago, but the one below is now that one, only now mastered. oh boy does it sound amazing. i’ll tell ya, if you’re in a hardcore band and want someone to work with that understands what hardcore really sounds like he is the guy to go with. our many thanks go to mr. fury. job well done.

the mastered copy has been sent off to the pressing plants to be converted into a 12 inch, via the efforts of just a audial & dead broke rekerds. 9 songs in just over twenty-five minutes. the campers here at sucksland are getting jittery in anticipation of actually having a new, completed record. early 2010 keep your eyes peeled and ready.

we will be doing a short tour of the state of new york in january with a few days off inbetween. dates are posted below. all of these shows are going to be varying cool crowds so check them out.

mastering and shit

In case you haven’t heard it yet, click down below to hear a new joint from our upcoming record The Taxes In Texas.

The track you may or may not be listening to is unmastered. However, a mastered version of it will appear alongside 8 others soon on some sort of slab of vinyl. We’re very pleased to announce Don Fury (that guy who recorded every album you love) will be mastering our record. We can’t wait to hear what he does with it.

We’ll announce some more shows and further record details in a little while. Hang out until then.

The Taxes In Texas

Hello, there is a new unmastered song called i lack gumption on our website and myspace. It will appear on our forthcoming full length record. Our record is called the taxes in texas. It is a collection of songs we are proud of and enthusiastic about. We’re a band that we like very much. It pleases me to be able to type a sentence like that and mean it wholeheartedly. We have some very special events approaching which we’ll keep you all informed about. Thank you for your time, interest and patience. It means a lot to us.

long time no update
